Currently

I'm making a "wedding planner mini album notebook." It is bound with rings and made mostly of paper bags but also includes some acetate pages and envelopes. It has lots of spaces for tags and adding notes besides the paper bags. But, my old hole punch broke and it punched holes that were too big. So, today I used a 40% off coupon to buy a Big Bite, Crop a Dile II. I'm excited to try to use it.

The sum is greater than the Parts.

So, it turns out that no matter what you eat a healthy food or meal will have parts that add up to something so much greater than the nutrients, calories, or ingredients. That is great and now a part of my mindful eating plan to say grace for what is on the plate and find an inward smile for the activity. I have found it so stressful, even if I prepared the food, to appreciate the act of eating it and what the meal means to my life and well being.

My Latest Adventure

So, I've gotten ill and one of the most important things for me to do is lose lots of fat because it is very obese fat. I decided to keep a food journal and I've already learned some great things like the number of calories going for a simple walk can add to you efforts to lose wait as well as the importance of considering both the calories and the grams of fat in my food choices. I read about weight loss successes from using blogging on a Women's Day page and I think it might be another great way to consider the bigger picture apart from my daily food journal.
